CONGRATULATIONS NATHAN HALING AND KIRSTEN MORRIS - THE NEWLY WEDS
On Saturday, 16th September, 2017, Nathan Haling and Kirsten Morris tied the knot at "Wilber". The two eight two eight committee volunteered to cater for the wedding and the offer was accepted by Nicole Morris - a long time volunteer of two eight two eight.
And what a wedding it was. The ceremony took within a "crop circle" on the farm, and although all of the bridal party looked beautiful (yes, even the young men), Kirsten stole the show looking absolutely stunning in her designer gown.

There was food galore and it just kept on coming. Starters of various kinds, ranging from sausages in bread pillows, meatballs, chicken skewers, prawns in tempura batter, and the list goes on. The main was either lamb rack or beef rib cutlets, all cooked to perfection I might add, served with baked vegetables and greens. Dessert was just as plentiful, with Chocolate rum and raison mousse, panacotta, rocky road, strawberry marshmallow slice and lovely homemade chocolates. The wedding cake, I hear you ask, was a croquembouche, made by one of the guests.
It was an absolute pleasure for all of us who volunteered and worked the evening. Thank you to Annette and Paul Fisher, who were our main caterers (awesome job as usual), Tracy Rae, Alison Dent, Sophie Fisher, Greg and Donna Patrick, Willy Reddington and Kay Clark with Shakira, Alison Tancred, Sara Roche, Deidre and Alan Walker, Colleen and Paul Ower, Joanne Carter and Tammy Nichols. Thank you also to Kim Skinner and Cameron Owens who manned the bar. Wonderful effort made by all. Thank you.
Congratulations once again, Kirsten and Nathan. We wish you both the very best for your future lives together.
