Our guests of honour were welcomed to two eight two eight by the wonderful teachers and staff of Gulargambone Central School, who decorated the hall in green, blue and silver balloons; candles; glitter and table menus.
It was a wonderful night for the students and their families, who enjoyed a meal of roast chicken or beef, baked vegetables, and greens served with a bread roll.
Speeches were then made by Michael Spora, the Principal and other staff members, with a response from James Knight on behalf of both Brooke and himself. And what a wonderfully elocuted speech. His family should be very proud, in fact, both of their families should be proud.
A choice of dessert of either Berry Meringue or Chocolate Mousse, was then served.
This was followed by a powerpoint presentation collated by Mrs Renee Ryan and Ms. Lynda Cody and other staff, depicting James' and Brooke's school years. From Kindergarten to Year 12. There were laughs and tears all round.
To end the evening, the students proudly cut the cake made for them by the staff and coffee and drinks were served.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful evening with two eight two eight, and once again we wish you both the very, very best for your future.
